It’s another double episode. Shaki was out, so Kelly sat in on the fun as we recorded with Comix co-owner Harlan Halper. In Part 1, Harlan shares how to service all the genres of comedy, what makes a great comic, and what could be an alternative name for alternative comedy. Plus Dan reminds us about the importance of trust between a producer and an audience.

Good job by Kelly, not as giggly as Shaki though ; ) Interesting to have the owner of the comedy club, nice. Harlan came across as a great storyteller and his reminiscing was interesting and takes you back ~ great sharing and I could i’d with what he said about comic relief ~ material from family stuff and the day to day observations… I wonder how old he is as I’m listening…I’d guess late 40’s and/or just about 50, although I could be wrong…sometimes comics sound younger than they are (must be the tickles that keep them young ; ) just my humble opinion. Good stuff ~ thanx. Hasta la proxima ~ until next time ~ goggles off ; ) CHEERS!
